5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guard is a cavalry regiment which was formed in 1922 and served until 1992.
In 1922 the Inniskillings ( 6th Dragoons ) and the 5th Dragoons Guards ( Princess Charlotte of Wales ) were amalgamated into one unit.
Initially known as the 5th/6th Dragoons, in 1927 it became known as the 5th Inniskilling Dragoon Guards, in 1935 they gained their Royal prefix.
